Easy Homemade Coconut Butter

Uncategorised

21 Jun

Life got better the moment I made this recipe! Perhaps I am exaggerating but when you are a coconut lover like myself, when you find and perfect a new recipe, it brings you happiness.

I spread this cream on a gluten free cracker or bread with a sprinkle of cinnamon. The husband loves peanut butter so he mixes the two. Heaven.

INGREDIENTS:

6 cups (or more) of organic, unsweetened, shredded coconut flakes (not large flake)
A pinch of salt
Optional flavorings: vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, peanut butter, etc.

DIRECTIONS:

Place shredded coconut in food processor and blend for about 8-10 minutes until creamy
Store in jars at room temperature

If someone had told in my 30โ€™s that strength train If someone had told in my 30โ€™s that strength training was the fountain of youth, I would have laughed my signature *big laugh*.

While Strength training can temporarily increase growth hormone and other anabolic signals โ€” the real anti-aging win is maintaining muscle, bone and physical function as you get older.

This time next year, Iโ€™ll be turning 5-0. And while Iโ€™ve never felt better, Iโ€™m even more motivated to become an even stronger (and hotter) version of myself.

Fibre is one of those unsexy nutrition basics that Fibre is one of those unsexy nutrition basics that becomes especially worth paying attention to in perimenopause.

It supports gut health, regularity, blood sugar management, cholesterol levels and satiety โ€” and most of us could use more of it.

Think: berries, vegetables, beans, lentils, whole grains, chia, flax and psyllium.

Aim for roughly 25โ€“30+ g a day and increase gradually alongside plenty of fluids.

Your future self may thank you. Plus, your ๐Ÿ’ฉ like a queen ๐Ÿ˜‰
